They also have high stability and are not affected by the oxygen partial pressure, ensuring long shelf life - expiring 24 months from the manufacture date and 5 months after opening with proper storage.
To use the iHealth EGS-2003 test strips, users need to upgrade to the latest iGluco App (iOS 4.7 or later; Android 4.7.0 or later) and select the correct test strip type (EGS-2003) in the app, then sync it with the iHealth glucose meter (BG1 or BG5). After that, they can simply insert the strip and take their measurement.
The new 2019 version of the iHealth test strips includes 50 strips and works exclusively with iHealth Glucose Monitoring Systems. They are eligible for FSA reimbursement and are conveniently packaged in two vials to keep the strips fresh and less exposed to light, air, and moisture, preserving the product's quality.
These test strips use the GDH-FAD enzyme and have a no-coding design, ensuring high stability and no impact from the oxygen partial pressure. All glucose readings are stored in the secure cloud, and users can export the data as an Excel, PDF, or CSV file to share with their healthcare providers or family members, allowing for a comprehensive overview of their health.
The iHealth EGS-2003 glucose test strips are FDA cleared and Medical CE approved, with operating conditions ranging from 50 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. They provide instant results with a tiny 0.7 microliter blood sample.
